How MIKUN Began

It started with one
borrowed Chanel.

The first MIKUN bag wasn't ours. It was a 1996 Classic Flap, lent by a grandmother to her granddaughter on her wedding day — already loved for thirty years, ready for thirty more.

That bag taught us something New Zealand couldn't easily access: the most extraordinary luxury isn't bought new in Paris. It's waiting in someone else's wardrobe — authenticated, cared for, ready for its next chapter.

Every handbag is verified through Entrupy's AI-powered authentication and inspected in-house by our specialists. Each piece ships with its certificate of authenticity. If a piece doesn't pass, it never enters the collection.

We ship NZ-wide with fully insured, tracked courier from our Auckland atelier — typically 1–2 business days for the North Island and 2–4 days for the South Island. Signature is required on delivery.

Yes. Every order includes 14 days to live with it. Return it in original condition for a full refund — no restocking fee, no questions, return shipping covered within New Zealand.

We curate, we don't collect. Each piece must meet our standards for design, condition and provenance — typically heritage houses such as Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine and The Row.

Submit your piece online or in person at our Auckland viewing room. We authenticate, photograph and present it to our private client list. You receive a settlement once the piece sells — typically the highest net return in the New Zealand resale market.

We accept pre-loved pieces in excellent to as-new condition. Every piece is photographed honestly, with condition notes and macro detail of any wear so you know exactly what you're collecting.
