Yes. Every item is professionally authenticated, photographed and listed across curated luxury channels — protecting both your piece and your privacy. No public profile, no negotiations, no risk.

What commission does MIKUN charge?

Our commission is tiered based on final sale value, starting at 25% for items above NZ$5,000 and reducing further for higher-value pieces. There are no upfront fees — you only pay when your item sells.

How long does selling with MIKUN take?

From submission to listing typically takes 7–14 days, depending on item arrival and authentication complexity. Most luxury bags sell within 30–60 days of going live.

How and when do I get paid?

Payment is issued via secure NZ bank transfer within 5 business days of a confirmed sale clearing.

Which luxury brands does MIKUN accept?

We focus on heritage luxury houses including Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Prada, Fendi, Loewe and Goyard. Selected fine jewellery and watches are also reviewed.

How do you authenticate luxury handbags?

A multi-stage process combining brand DNA review, serial and provenance checks, expert specialist authentication and Entrupy AI verification where applicable. Every approved item receives a MIKUN authentication certificate.

What happens if my luxury item does not sell?

We work closely with you on price refinements after 60 days. Items remain your property and may be returned to you at any time at no cost.

Do you accept items from outside New Zealand?

Yes — we accept items from Australia and internationally, with insured inbound shipping arranged through our concierge.
